Job summary

MarkMay is hiring a Domestic Gas Breakdown Engineer to cover Guildford and surrounding GU areas, performing servicing and breakdown work on domestic gas systems with a focus on safety and compliance. You will issue LGSRs and diagnose boiler problems to high standards.

The role offers a £42,000 basic salary with bonus schemes, permanent full-time status, a company van, fuel card, and opportunities for internal training across sectors.

Qualifications

• Gas servicing and breakdown experience in domestic properties.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and LGSRs.
• DBS check and valid driving license required.

Job Title: Domestic Gas Breakdown Engineer

Location: Covering GU

Salary: £42,000 basic + bonus schemes

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a growing business that has just been awarded an additional 15,000 properties to manage. With a strong appetite for further growth, our client is seeking passionate Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineers to join their team and work across Guildford.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out servicing and breakdown work within domestic properties, issuing LGSRs


• Diagnose and repair various boiler systems to a high standard, in line with safety regulations (Reg 26.9)


• Work proactively using your initiative while supporting the team

Requirements:

• Gas qualifications: CENWAT, CCN1, HTR1, CKR1 – essential


• Minimum 5 years' experience within domestic gas service and breakdown


• Clean DBS check and valid driver's license
