Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a domestic gas engineer.
Gas Safe registration and relevant ACS certificates required.

Responsible for service, maintenance, and repair of domestic gas boilers.
Work in private and domestic homes ensuring customer satisfaction.

Gas Safe Registered

Domestic ACS Gas certificates (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1)

Experience as a domestic gas engineer

Service and repair of gas and heating appliances

Oil Boiler experience or OFTEC registered

Air Source Heat Pump experience

Tools for gas service and repair

Location - Reading

Alecto Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking a Qualified Domestic Gas Service Engineer to join one of our clients who are a leading provider of plumbing, heating and renewable energy services throughout the Reading, South Oxfordshire and Berkshire area.

Our client is a customer-focused business with excellent company reviews and a good reputation within the industry.

Job Summary:

Working as a Gas Qualified Heating Engineer, you'll need to live in either Basingstoke, Newbury, Reading, Berkshire or South Oxfordshire.
Responsible for breakdown, service, maintenance and repair works for domestic gas boilers and heating systems.
Landlord certificates etc.
Working in private and domestic homes.
Opportunity to join a professional and customer-focused business rather than being volume/target based.
Opportunity to progress into air source heat pump and renewable heating systems.

Skills Required:

Gas Safe Registered / Domestic ACS Gas certificates such as; CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 etc.
Must have proven background as a domestic gas engineer. Minimum 2-3 years' within the industry.
Good experience with service, repair and breakdown work on gas and heating appliances.
Oil Boiler experience or OFTEC registered is also desired but not essential.
Air Source Heat Pump experience desired but again not essential.

Salary & Package:

Basic Salary of 40k per annum based on a 40 hour week
Bonus/Profit Share (Opportunity to earn 50k-60k overall)
