Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Domestic Gas Engineer to cover PO postcodes from an office in Emsworth, Hampshire. Salary is £40,000–£45,000 per annum depending on experience, with a van, overtime and call-out benefits.

The role involves servicing, fault-finding and repairs on domestic heating systems, with occasional installations and customer liaison. A 1 in 4 weekend rota applies with on-call bonus.

Qualifications

• Desirable: Oil, LPG, F-Gas, or heat pump tickets.

Responsibilities

Salary: GBP40000 - GBP45000 per annum + Van, Overtime, Call Out

Position: Domestic Gas Engineer
Location: Covering PO postcodes from an office in Emsworth, Hampshire
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
We currently have an opportunity available with an expanding plumbing & heating contractor based in Hampshire, who are looking to expand their workforce along with expanding into the renewable heating sector.

• Completing maintenance, service, attending breakdowns, fault-finding and repairs on domestic boilers and heating systems across the PO postcode area within the private housing sector
• Occasionally assist with installations as & when needed
• Liaising with customers and providing technical support where necessary
• Working on a 1 in every 4 weekend call out rota (additional payments included)

Domestic Gas Engineer Requirements

• Background of completing servicing, fault-finding and repairs on domestic heating systems including boilers, radiators, cylinders and associated systems
• Domestic Gas tickets essential, including CCN1, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1 and CENWAT
• Any additional ticket/qualifications including Oil, LPG, F-Gas or heat pumps would be highly desirable
• Based within a commutable distance of the PO postcode area (Portsmouth across to Bognor Regis), and happy to travel to sites across the area
• Holding a full UK driving licence

Domestic Gas Engineer Salary & Benefits

• Basic salary £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
• Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
• 33 days holiday, including bank holidays
• 1 in 4 weekend on call rota (Friday through to Sunday), on call bonus paid.
