Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Assist with basic fabric and electrical work.
  • Perform emergency and remedial works.
  • Conduct plumbing works.
  • Monitor visiting contractors and issue permits.
  • Join the on-call rota for business support.

Job Title: Domestic Gas Engineer

Location: Aberdeen

Summary:

Are you a skilled and experienced Gas Engineer looking for a new opportunity to showcase your expertise? If you are ready for a challenging and rewarding role, we have an exciting position for you! We are currently seeking a dedicated Gas Engineer to join our client's team and play a pivotal role in maintaining and servicing various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Assist where possible with basic fabric and electrical work.
  • Carry out any emergency and remedial works that come up.
  • Plumbing works.
  • Monitor visiting sub-contractors, issue health & safety permits where needed and escorts when required.
  • Join the on-call rota to support all business needs with the team.
  • Full, clean driving Licence.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • City & Guilds Level 1 or 2 or 3 or Equivalent apprentice experience.
  • Experienced with maintenance, testing & fault finding of the following: boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, Batteries, small power and lighting
  • Domestic Gas Tickets
