Are you an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer looking to come off the tools without leaving the industry?
We’re recruiting for a fast-growing home energy and installation business that is expanding its technical team in Leeds.
This is an office-based role where you’ll use your hands‑on gas experience to review completed boiler installations, support engineers with technical issues and ensure work has been completed safely, correctly and to the required standard.
It would suit an experienced Gas Engineer, Boiler Engineer, Gas Auditor, Technical Advisor or Gas Technical Support Engineer who wants to move away from full-‑time field work.
You’ll be part of the technical team responsible for reviewing completed domestic boiler installations and supporting engineers with live technical issues.
You should have a strong background as a Domestic Gas Engineer and be confident assessing whether an installation has been completed properly.
We’re particularly interested in candidates with experience across boiler installation, service and repair, fault finding, domestic heating systems, flues, ventilation and gas safety.
You’ll also need:
Previous experience within auditing, technical support, QA, compliance or engineer mentoring would be advantageous, but isn’t essential if you have strong hands‑on gas experience.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Gas Engineer who still enjoys the technical side of the industry but wants to move away from driving between jobs, crawling through lofts, fitting boilers and spending every day on the road.
You’ll still use your gas knowledge every day, but from an office‑based technical role with genuine opportunities to progress within auditing, quality, technical support and management.
