Job summary

British Gas is seeking skilled Electricians to join our Field Engineering team to deliver safe, high-quality electrical work in domestic properties and provide same-day fixes.

You will diagnose faults, perform installations and rewires while upholding safety, compliance and first-time fix targets. There are opportunities to train in Net Zero technologies as the role evolves, with a strong emphasis on customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified electrician.
• City & Guilds 2365 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent), culminating in a Level 3 Technical Certificate including the NET AM2.
• City & Guilds 2382 - BS 7671.
• IET Wiring Regulations.
• City & Guilds 2391/52 (or equivalent) - highly desirable.
• Willingness to undertake potential future training in Net Zero technologies.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and repairs in domestic properties.
• Electrical installations and upgrades.
• Full and partial rewires.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, compliantly, and right first time.
