Job summary

Essential Employment is seeking a Domestic Electrician for Ashbourne. The role offers full-time hours on a temporary basis with pay of £21 per hour.

Responsibilities include domestic electrical installations, fault finding, maintenance, and EICRs, with strict adherence to BS 7671. You will complete documentation and maintain high safety and customer service standards for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience performing domestic electrical installations.
• Ability to fault find and diagnose issues.
• Able to complete job sheets and stay compliant with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations).

Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic electrical installations, repairs and maintenance.
• Perform fault finding and diagnostics.
• Replace and upgrade consumer units as required.
• Test and inspect electrical installations (EICRs).
• Ensure work complies with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations).
• Complete job sheets, certificates and reports accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and clear communication with residents.
• Keep a clean, safe working environment.
