About The Role

Location: Sunderland (SR6)

Hours: Full-time work (40 hours per week)

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

1. Undertake all cleaning tasks around the service, including cleaning the rooms of the people we support, public areas, and offices.
2. Ensure laundry is washed, including linen and clothes of the people we support.
3. Check stock levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.

About you

To be successful as a Housekeeper, it would be advantageous to have:

• Housekeeping experience, preferably within a care environment.
• Knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety at work would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Compassion, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality service for the people we support.

Park Lodge - Swanton Care, is a popular 8-bedroom residential home delivering bespoke care packages for individuals with autism, learning difficulties, and epilepsy. We offer high-quality training in autism awareness, epilepsy, medication, and person-centred care, including bespoke communication training such as Makaton and health promotion.
