Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Domestic / Cleaner in Stockton-on-Tees to help maintain clean, safe environments for residents and staff. The role involves daily cleaning across all areas, with exact shifts and a 30-hour weekly pattern, including mornings and afternoons.

Average pay is £13.22 per hour, with enhanced rates for evenings and weekends and overtime. A supportive team and development opportunities are highlighted by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning duties: vacuuming and washing/mopping floors in all visible areas (including stairs and landings).
• Clean toilets, sinks and showers; wash tiles when needed; weekly cleaning of fixtures and fittings.
• Wipe skirting boards, windowsills, shelves, doors and all reachable glass.
• Ensure services are clean and safe environments for people we support and colleagues.

Job description

Domestic / Cleaner – Stockton-on-Tees - 30 hours - £13.22 per hour

Typical Shifts are: Monday to Sunday - 8:00am - 2:00pm & 2:00pm - 8:00pm

We’re on the hunt for a Domestic / Cleaner to join us in our brand new neurological behaviour service in Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees - Riverway Lodge. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

As a Domestic / Cleaner with us you’ll be helping to make sure our services are clean and safe environments for the people we support and our colleagues. You’ll do this by undertaking daily cleaning duties of vacuuming and washing / mopping floors in all visible areas (including stairs and landings), cleaning toilets, sinks and showers and washing tiles when needed. You’ll also do some weekly cleaning of fixtures and fittings, wiping skirting boards, windowsills, shelves, doors and all reachable glass etc.
