General Services Department – Galashiels Health Centre and Roxburgh Street Medical Practice, Galashiels

Domestic Assistant/Porter

Band 2 x 3 posts

2 based in Galashiels Health Centre - 14.9 hours per week (Monday to Friday 17:00-20:00)

1 based in Roxburgh Street Medical Practice - 15 hours per week (Monday to Friday 17:00-20:00)

Responsibilities
  • Provide a cleaning service and portering duties if required, Monday to Friday 17:00 to 20:00.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Applicants will be required to demonstrate a high level of competence in domestic activities, flexibility and knowledge of the NHS Borders Behavioural Framework.
Pay and Hours

Please note: the salary quoted is for full-time hours (37 hrs per week). For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata.

If the post is assessed as a "regulated role", your appointment will be subject to joining the PVG Scheme.
