Job Description:

The Department of Pathology has a vacancy for a part-time early morning Domestic Assistant, mainly working in the Department's canteen.

Hours: 18.5 hours per week, early mornings.

The role is managed by the Department's Facilities Office, with supervision by the Domestic Services Supervisor and Facilities Administrator. The Department is located at Tennis Court Road, Cambridge, and Biomedical Campus at Addenbrooke's Hospital. The position is primarily based at the central site but may require cover at Addenbrooke's Hospital.

Experience in cleaning and an NVQ 1 or 2 in Cleaning Methods and Food Hygiene Level 2 is preferred, but full training will be provided. The candidate must follow written and verbal instructions, understand safety instructions regarding chemicals, and possess good communication skills. Reliability, professionalism, attention to detail, and physical fitness are essential. We welcome applications for part-time or flexible working arrangements.
