We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant at Renaissance Care. In this role, you will help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, ensuring they feel at home and valued.

We are seeking an experienced Domestic Assistant to join our team in Kingsmills Care Home for 44 hours a week. Some weekend working will be required.

Within this role, we encourage candidates to build and develop meaningful relationships with residents and to include them, where possible, in daily activities that may interest them. These interactions provide great purpose for many residents and can have a positive impact on an individual's daily experience.

As a domestic assistant, your role is to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in the home to ensure residents' environment is clean, tidy, homely, and welcoming. This includes all personal rooms, en-suites, and all communal areas such as lounges, dining areas, and bathrooms.

Requirements
  • Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role or sector and a good understanding of COSHH, HACCP, and infection control procedures.
  • You should be a strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a team but also feels confident working independently when needed.
  • A keen eye for detail is essential, along with a respectful approach to maintaining our residents' dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
