Job summary

Holmes Care Group Heatherfield welcomes applicants for the Domestic Assistant role. You will help keep residents' surroundings clean, safe and welcoming, including rooms, toilets and communal areas. You may assist with laundry and dining room setup to support daily life in the home.

No prior experience is required; applicants should be caring, compassionate and willing to learn in a supportive team environment. Training and development opportunities are provided.

What does the day of a Domestic Assistant look like?

Our Domestic staff will ensure our homes are kept clean, presentable, and safe for residents and visitors:

To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises

To clean resident rooms, communal and staff areas as well as toilets and bathrooms

Disposal of refuse/waste ensuring waste bins are maintained.

Assist with laundry tasks.

Assisting with dining room preparation for mealtimes

Develop a positive relationship with all residents, staff and visitors by becoming an important member of the team
