Job summary

Almond Valley Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is hiring a Domestic Assistant in Livingston. You will keep residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas clean and welcoming, while supporting laundry and ensuring belongings are cared for properly.

Working with the team, you will follow infection control and safety procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and a respectful environment for residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Positive and reliable approach.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.
• Previous experience welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard of hygiene.
• Support laundry services and ensure items are handled with care.
• Follow infection control, health and safety and cleaning procedures.
