Healthcare Ireland Group is recruiting a Domestic Assistant for Blair House Care Home in Newtownards. You will support the Housekeeper to keep the home clean, tidy and welcoming for residents across dementia, frail and elderly units.

The role focuses on maintaining high standards of hygiene and comfort in a compassionate, team-focused environment. We offer paid annual leave, ongoing training, progression opportunities, and an enhanced overtime rate.

Qualifications

• Good standard of verbal and written English.
• Relevant experience for the role.
• The Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the home meets cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout.
• Cover domestic duties as assigned by the Housekeeper.
• Identify and report damage, faults or issues to maintenance or management.
• Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule.
• Use and store cleaning products in line with COSHH regulations.
• Undertake any other duties as designated by the Home Manager or Housekeeper.
