An opportunity has arisen within the South Coast Nursing Homes group for a Domestic Assistant at Abundant Grace in Seaford.

Wk. - 1 Mon, Wed, Thurs - 8-3

The purpose of this role is to keep the home clean and safe, providing a superior
service to our residents

  • To provide a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the
    home at all times.
  • To clean residents’ rooms thoroughly each day after nursing staff have
    completed their patient care. To check flowers and plants and
    water/dispose of as necessary.
  • To clean communal area’s including mopping, vacuuming, dusting
  • Ensuring the home is safe e.g removing clutter, keeping storage area’s tidy
  • Shampoo carpets as and when needed.
  • To present and provide clean and ironed laundry at all times, available for clients as needed
  • To take particular care with resident’s personal laundry, to prevent accidental damage and present in well ironed state.
  • To check resident’s personal laundry for tears, broken zips or lost buttons and refer to matron for discussion if a repair if necessary
