Job summary

Barnes Lodge Care Home, part of Avante Care & Support Ltd, is looking for a Domestic Assistant to keep rooms, bathrooms and shared spaces clean to a high standard. You’ll contribute to a safe, welcoming home where residents feel cared for and valued.

Responsibilities include maintaining hygiene, following schedules, replenishing supplies and reporting issues. A team-focused, reliable individual with respect for residents’ home environment is ideal.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is a bonus—but not essential.
• Basic understanding of hygiene standards (or willingness to learn).
• Reliable, organised, and take pride in your work.
• Respectful, caring, and mindful of working in a resident’s home.
• A team player who can also work independently.
