The Vacancy

We are recruiting a Domestic Assistant to join the team at our Amelia Court development in Worthing, West Sussex. Built in 2009 and consisting of 65 apartments, Amelia Court encourages independent living for the over 60's.

£12.24 per hour

30 hours per week – Monday to Friday between 8.30am – 2.30pm and working 2 weekends a month to cover waitressing for the lunch service 12.30pm – 2.30pm

• Domestic support and housekeeping, including weekly homeowner apartment cleans, laundry service and communal area cleaning
• Supporting in the Bistro or Restaurant

Domestic Assistant Responsibilities

• Supporting in the Bistro or Restaurant

There is also the opportunity to develop your skills and train further to become a Duty Manager should you wish to.

Skills And Experience

• A caring personality and the want to make a difference to people’s lives!
• Experience of domestic cleaning would be ideal or experience of working in a customer care or service role in a similar environment, such as health & social care, hospitality, retail, domestic services or even caring for a family member.
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleaning
• Considerate, patient and professional
• Clear and confident communication skills
• Be friendly and approachable
• A hardworking diligent nature and good time keeping
