Job summary

Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust is advertising for motivated Domestc Assistants to join the team at St Marys Community Hospital in Portsmouth, with potential work at other Portsmouth sites. You will help maintain a clean and welcoming environment across inpatient wards, providing high-quality cleaning services to patients, visitors and colleagues.

Vacancies range from 15 to 25 hours per week with shifts between 06:00 and 13:00.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, care settings, hospitals, or transferable cleaning-related skills.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends; full training provided.

We are looking for motivated and reliable Domestc Assistants to join our friendly team at St Marys Community Hospital in Portsmouth but also may be required to work at other Portsmouth sites. We welcome applications from candidates with experience in hospitality, nursing homes, hospitals, healthcare settings, or those with relevant transferable skills.

As a Housekeeper, you will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and colleagues by providing high-quality cleaning services across our inpatient wards.

We have vacancies available from 15 to 25 hours per week, with shifts between 06:00 and 13:00. Working patterns will be discussed at interview. The hospital is accessible by public transport.

You will join a supportive team and receive full training, with opportunities for ongoing development. This is a great opportunity to contribute to patient care and help deliver a positive experience for patients across Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare.
