Job summary

Kingsley Healthcare is seeking a Domestic Assistant to help keep our care home clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and staff. You will ensure public and private spaces are neat, tidy, and sanitary while following all applicable health and safety rules.

Reporting to the Home Manager or Deputy Manager, you will work with a caring team, develop attention to detail, and contribute to a positive living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and colleagues.
• Awareness of cleanliness standards and hygiene practices.
• Attention to detail in daily housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of public and private spaces in the home.
• Follow Health & Safety at Work legislation and industry guidelines.
• Support reporting structure to Home Manager/Deputy Manager/Housekeeper.

About the role

As a Domestic Assistant, you will ensure that public or private spaces within the home are kept neat, tidy, and sanitary. Part of this will be ensuring that all Health & Safety at Work legislation is followed, including all requirements under specific industry Codes of Practice and Environmental Health guidelines.

Reports to: Home Manager/Deputy Manager/Housekeeper
