Main duties:

• Promote the Company Mission Statement at all times.
• Ensure the Home’s furniture, furnishings, and fittings are sufficiently clean.
• Ensure all surfaces of floors, walls, and ceilings are sufficiently clean.
• Clean carpets when necessary.
• Empty wastebaskets and yellow/black bins daily, ensuring waste is disposed of safely in line with requirements.
• Clean all internal windows monthly.
• Thoroughly clean all bedrooms once a week on a rota basis. Ensure that communal areas are cleaned daily.
• Ensure all sinks, en-suites, bathrooms, and toilets are cleaned daily.
• Chemicals must be stored in line with COSHH requirements.
• Re-stock paper products and dispensers.

Hope Green Residential Home

Located on the edge of Poynton, close to junction 1 of the M60 motorway, with local shops, library, hairdressers, surgery, pharmacy, and pub within walking distance. Built in the late 18th century, Hope Green has been a care home since 1990, offering accommodation for 52 residents in luxury surroundings. All rooms are fully carpeted, decorated to a high standard, with nurse call systems, fire detection, and bedroom furniture. Residents are encouraged to personalize their rooms. The home features three lounges, dining rooms, a hairdressing salon, assisted bathrooms, a well-maintained garden with a patio and sun lounge, and an extension with garden access through bi-folding doors. Parking is available for up to 25 cars.
