We are seeking dedicated Domestic Assistants to join the Medirest team, providing outstanding cleaning services for patients, visitors, and staff at the hospital.

Your role as a Domestic Assistant is crucial in infection control, helping the hospital operate smoothly and deliver essential medical services. This is more than just cleaning; it's about making a meaningful impact.

Shift Patterns

• High and low dusting, mopping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces.
• Cleaning wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, infected and public areas.
• Maintaining and emptying rubbish bins.
• Ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and presentable, following policies and procedures.
• Using equipment safely, adhering to Health & Safety guidelines.

Ideal Candidates

• Passionate about patient care, with effective communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team, with flexibility.
• Comfortable working in a hospital environment, understanding the presence of unwell or distressed patients.
• No previous experience as a Domestic Assistant is required; pride in your work and willingness to learn are most important.
• This position requires a Disclosure & Barring Service check, with costs covered by the employer.
