Job summary

Akari Care in Gateshead is seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene in residents' rooms and communal areas, working 22 hours over 4 days, 9am–3pm, with alternating weekends. You will work with the domestic and laundry teams to deliver a warm, respectful environment for older people.

The role requires a caring nature, reliability, and the ability to adapt to changing needs, supporting residents with dignity while following policies.

You will continually assess the domestic needs of all residents.
