In accordance with the NHS 2021 National Specifications of Cleanliness and related documentation, the key objective is to maintain high standards of cleanliness in various ward areas and on patient equipment.

Cleaning experience is desirable, but full training will be provided. Responsibilities include general cleaning tasks such as refuse disposal, dusting, cleaning sanitary areas, wet mopping, and cleaning patient equipment. Staff will be provided with uniform and training.

Development opportunities are available for those interested in pursuing a career in the NHS.

Working Hours

Hours: to be discussed at interview.

Options include:

• 30 hours/week (06:00-12:00), two out of three weekends, including Public Holidays
• 30 hours/week (07:15-13:15), two out of three weekends, including Public Holidays
• 30 hours/week (12:30-18:30), two out of three weekends, including Public Holidays
• 37.5 hours/week (06:00-14:00), two out of three weekends, including Public Holidays (Specialist)
• 37.5 hours/week (08:00-16:00), two out of three weekends, including Public Holidays (Specialist)
• 37.5 hours/week (12:00-20:00), two out of three weekends, including Public Holidays (Specialist)
• 37.5 hours/week (07:15-15:15/11:00-19:00 on alternate weeks), two out of three weekends, including Public Holidays (Floor Team)
