Henderson House Care Home is seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant in Dalgety Bay. You will maintain clean rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, support laundry services and ensure hygiene standards are met.
The role involves following infection control procedures in a supportive, team-based environment. The position offers a 40-hour week, day shifts and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour, with PVG paid, pension, uniform provided and generous annual leave.
Henderson House Care Home is a well established care home in the coastal town of Dalgety Bay in Fife, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 60 residents. With a strong, experienced team and a welcoming, homely atmosphere, this is a service where staff can feel supported, valued and confident in delivering high quality care within a stable and well run environment.
As Domestic Assistant, you will play an essential role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment that supports wellbeing, dignity and comfort. This is a hands on role where your attention to detail and high standards will have a direct impact on daily life.
You will be responsible for cleaning residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. You will also support laundry services, helping to ensure personal belongings are handled with care and returned correctly.
Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and cleaning procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in line with required standards. Your role will contribute to a well organised, respectful and comfortable environment for everyone.
