Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Dudley is seeking a Domestic Assistant to deliver routine and periodic cleaning within Russells Hall Hospital. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and supporting the hospital's soft service quality expectations.

The role is permanent full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of £24,852.72 per annum. Training is provided, and a good knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals is advantageous for the role.

• Cleaning experience preferred, training can be provided.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used by Mitie.
• Ability to work to a schedule, be a team player and strive for continuous improvements.

We are looking for an experienced Domestic Assistant in our healthcare division to deliver excellent service of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. You need to ensure the contract service delivery is of a high standard and meet allSLAagreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.

You should be capable of ensuring the hospital has a reputation for its high-quality soft services and where possible to look for opportunities to develop this further. You must build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations. You must always adhere to allMitie Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.

You will be capable of working to their own initiative where appropriate. You will be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude. You must have ability to work to a schedule, be a team player and must strive for continuous improvements in service delivery.

The ideal candidate would have a cleaning experience however training can be provided. You should have a full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used byMitie.
