Advantage Angels is hiring Domestic Assistants to support care homes across the UK. You will help create a welcoming, safe, and tidy environment, making a real difference in residents' daily lives.

Competitive pay (£13.00–£18.00 per hour with enhancements for nights, weekends and bank holidays) and flexible shifts are available. Training, uniform, ID badge and timesheets are provided, with quick registration to start work promptly.

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping: dusting, polishing, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming.

• Handle laundry tasks: bed making, linens, washing and ironing.
• Empty bins, tidy rooms, and organise spaces for safety and comfort.
• Assist with meal preparation and serving when needed.

About the Role

Your work as a Domestic Assistant is about far more than cleaning it's about creating a true sense of home. You'll be the one who ensures everyone can enjoy a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment.

• General housekeeping tasks, including dusting, polishing, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Thoroughly cleaning and sanitising bathrooms and kitchens to a high standard
• Handling laundry duties, such as making beds, changing linens, and washing and ironing clothes
• Emptying bins, tidying rooms, and organising spaces
• Providing assistance with meal preparation and serving when needed

• IsCaring, reliable, and personable
• Detail-oriented, able to follow instructions precisely
• Experienced in commercial or care home cleaning (preferred but not required)
• Knowledgeable about proper cleaning techniques and equipment
• Physically able to handle the demands of the job, with strong time-management skills
• Eligible to work in the UK
• A driving licence is preferred but not essential
