Job summary

Renaissance Care is seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant for Beech Manor Care Home. You will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents, ensuring their comfort and dignity.

The role supports community living through attention to detail and collaborative teamwork. We encourage building meaningful resident relationships and participation in daily activities where possible, with COSHH/HACCP and infection control awareness essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or sector.
• Good understanding of COSHH, HACCP, and infection control procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team or independently.
• Keen eye for detail and respect for residents' dignity, privacy and confidentiality.

Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant at Renaissance Care. In this role, you will help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, ensuring they feel at home and valued.

We are seeking an experienced Domestic Assistant to join our team in Beech Manor Care Home for 25 hours per week.

Within this role, we encourage candidates to build and develop meaningful relationships with residents and to include them, where possible, in daily activities that may interest them. These interactions provide great purpose for many residents and can have a positive impact on an individuals’ daily experience.

As a domestic assistant your role is to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in the home to ensure residents environment is clean, tidy, homely, and welcoming. This is inclusive of all personal rooms, en-suites, and all communal areas, including lounge, dining, and bathroom facilities.

Requirements

Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role or sector and a good understanding of COSHH, HACCP, and infection control procedures. You should be a strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a team but also feels confident working independently when needed. A keen eye for detail is essential, along with a respectful approach to maintaining our residents' dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
