Job summary

St Philip's Care in the United Kingdom is seeking a Domestic Housekeeping Assistant to maintain high cleanliness standards across resident rooms and communal areas. You will work as part of the housekeeping team and report to the Care Home Manager.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability and a flexible approach to workload. Prior experience in care settings is preferred, with COSHH and health and safety awareness encouraged.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout resident rooms and communal areas.
• Clean and care for residents' rooms to feel homely and tidy.
• Manage communal areas, showers, bathrooms, dining area and seating.
• Support day-to-day running of the care establishment under the Care Home Manager.
• Ensure safety and compliance with health and safety guidelines.

Job description

You are responsible for maintaining high standards or cleanliness throughout the home for our residents, cleaning and caring for our residents rooms and ensuring they are homely and tidy. You are responsible for communal areas, showers, bathrooms, dinning area and seating areas. Our Care Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Domestic Housekeeping Assistant to assist in the day to day running of a busy and vibrant care establishment. You will be reporting to the Care Home Manager

As a part of the house keeping team you are a valued and respected part of the team. We are looking for an individual who has high attention to detail, high standards and pride in their work.,

• Beware of correct cleaning solutions and equipment for correct job

As a Domestic and Laundry Assistant it would be desirable to have:

• Previous experience of care work in a Hospital or Care Home.
• An interest for Care of the Elderly
