Job summary

St Philip's Care in Barrow-upon-Humber is seeking a dedicated Domestic and Laundry Assistant to maintain high cleanliness standards across residents' rooms, communal areas, showers, bathrooms, dining areas and seating spaces. You will work within the housekeeping team, ensuring homely, tidy environments and assisting in day-to-day running of a busy care home, reporting to the Care Home Manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home.
• Clean and care for residents' rooms to keep them homely and tidy.
• Oversee communal areas, showers, bathrooms, dining area and seating areas.
• Work as part of the housekeeping team and assist in day-to-day running.
• Report any accidents, hazards or unsafe equipment to the Care Home Manager.

Job description

You are responsible for maintaining high standards or cleanliness throughout the home for our residents, cleaning and caring for our residents rooms and ensuring they are homely and tidy. You are responsible for communal areas, showers, bathrooms, dinning area and seating areas. Our Care Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Domestic Housekeeping Assistant to assist in the day to day running of a busy and vibrant care establishment. You will be reporting to the Care Home Manager

As a part of the house keeping team you are a valued and respected part of the team. We are looking for an individual who has high attention to detail, high standards and pride in their work.

• Beware of correct cleaning solutions and equipment for correct job

As a Domestic and Laundry Assistant it would be desirable to have:

• Previous experience of care work in a Hospital or Care Home.
• An interest for Care of the Elderly
