Part-time Domestic Abuse Practitioners - Leicester and Coventry

20 hours Coventry (Mon - Wednesday)

20 hours Leicester (Wed - Friday)

25 hours Leicester (Mon - Fri)

Join a passionate team supporting survivors of domestic abuse. We are looking for a dedicated Domestic Abuse Practitioner to empower individuals, promote safety, and build resilience in our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support and advocacy for survivors.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans.
  • Connect clients with legal, housing, health, and other vital services.
  • Deliver training and raise awareness about domestic abuse.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to strengthen support networks.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to service improvements.
  • Stay informed about legislation and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in a South Asian language, French, or Italian is essential.

  • Experience supporting survivors or working in a similar role.
