Up to £13624.00 per annum + paid mileage

Part time Domestic Abuse Practitioners - Leicester and Coventry

20 hours Coventry (Mon - Wednesday)

20 hours Leicester (Wed-Friday)

25 hours Leicester (Mon-Fri)

What You'll Do:

  • Provide one-to-one support and advocacy for survivors.
  • Carry out risk assessments and create safety plans.
  • Connect clients with vital services - legal, housing, health, and more.
  • Deliver training and raise awareness around domestic abuse.
  • Work closely with partner agencies to strengthen support networks.
  • Contribute to team meetings and service improvements.
  • Stay up to date on legislation and best practices.

What You'll Bring:

  • Fluency in a South Asian language, French, or Italian is essential
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Experience supporting survivors or working in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of domestic abuse and its impact.
  • Excellent communication and empathy.
  • Confidence working independently and in a team.
  • Knowledge of local support services.
  • A commitment to learning and professional growth.
