Job summary

adesso is seeking an experienced Domain Solution Architect in Banking and/or Insurance to design scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions for our UK client base.

You will bridge business strategy and technical delivery, translating objectives into architectural designs while leading governance, security, and integration efforts. This hands-on, stakeholder-facing role requires fluency in English and a track record of delivering cloud-native solutions in enterprise settings.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Solution Architect in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in cloud architecture, including security, networking, integration, and modern application design.
• Proven track record designing scalable, resilient solutions using cloud native technologies.
• Domain expertise in the Banking and/or Insurance core sectors, with an understanding of relevant industry products, regulations, and journeys.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Relevant certifications (highly desirable).
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cloud-based solutions leveraging hyperscaler services and industry best practice.
• Develop architecture roadmaps aligned with business priorities and enterprise standards.
• Partner with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation across applications, data, and infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership, governance, and architectural guidance across the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that enhance business capability and customer outcomes.

You'll work at the intersection of business strategy and technical delivery, translating strategic objectives into architectural designs that enable innovation, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.

This is a hands‑on, stakeholder facing role for someone who can move fluently between the boardroom and the build.

• Design end to end cloud-based solutions, leveraging hyperscaler services and industry best practice
