Responsibilities

• Define and drive the architecture strategy for EnBW’s trading functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Review current architecture, identify areas for improvement, and propose modernization solutions.
• Oversee integration of trading systems, including ETRM platforms like Endur.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and network teams to produce technical designs.
• Conduct architectural reviews of ongoing projects to ensure future readiness.
• Work with system owners and business verticals to ensure systems are fit for purpose.
• Stay updated on industry technologies and trends to leverage cutting-edge tools.

Profile

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Domain Architect in a commodity trading environment.
• Deep knowledge of commodities trading processes, with expertise in areas like Pre-Trade, Post-Trade, Renewables & PPA’s, Automated Trade Execution, Data Governance.
• Experience in large-scale transformation programmes, especially in greenfield environments.
• Expertise in trading systems, particularly ETRM platforms like Endur.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture (Azure, AWS) and messaging patterns (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Familiarity with API stacks, data warehousing, and reporting frameworks.
• Experience with agile methodologies and modern tech stacks.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in large teams.
