Dogs Trust Company Limited is seeking a Dog Welfare Supervisor in Shrewsbury. The role involves supervising Dog Welfare Assistants to ensure dogs receive daily exercise, training and enrichment while kennels are kept clean and comfortable until homes are found.

We're looking for a Dog Welfare Supervisor, who will motivate, manage and support our Dog Welfare Assistants, as they provide excellent care to all dogs living in the rehoming centre.
This is a fixed term contract between 26 November 2026 to 26 November 2027.
As Dog Welfare Supervisor, you’ll:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need excellent knowledge of dog welfare and experience of working in rehoming. You'll need to lead by example, as you won’t be line managing people, but you’ll be supervising staff as they complete day-to-day tasks. Additionally, a positive and pro-active attitude and an ambition to make sure our dogs receive the best standard of care is essential. A full, manual driving licence is also essential, as driving will be a part of the role.
Interviews are provisionally scheduled for 30th September at Shrewsbury Rehoming Centre.
