Dogwood in Ascot is recruiting a Trainee Stylist to join our family-run salon. The role offers permanent, full-time employment at 10.85–12.71 per hour for a 40-hour week over five days, with extensive hands-on training designed to progress you to grooming standards.

We value applicants who are passionate about pets, eager to learn, and comfortable working with dogs and customers. Heavy lifting is part of the job and staff benefits include retail discounts and wellbeing support.

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Stylist within our Dogwood salon based in Ascot.

Responsibilities of a Trainee Stylist:

• Demonstrating a hands‑on approach to train to Dogwoods high standards.
• Supporting your stylist in preparing the dogs ready for their groom.
• Responsible for the sales performance of the salon.
• Booking and managing appointments.
• Delivering high standards of customer service.
• Going 'the extra mile' for every customer
• Ensuring first class spa presentation by our high level of housekeeping and maintenance of equipment.
• Completing a Grooming portfolio to track your training and progress.
