Dogwood Slough Pet Grooming Spa in Slough is seeking an experienced, customer-focused dog stylist to join our family-run salon. You will groom and style all breeds to a high standard and help oversee spa operations.

We offer extensive training under our Dogwood curriculum, a custom uniform, high quality equipment, and generous staff discounts on accessories, food, and salon services. This role involves heavy lifting and a busy team environment.

Responsibilities

• Able to groom and style all breeds of dogs to the highest standard.
• Overseeing the running of the spa.
• Demonstrating a hands-on approach to train to high standards.
• Supporting your stylist in preparing the dogs ready for their groom.
• Responsible for the sales performance of the salon, identifying improvements and implementing them.
• Booking and managing appointments.
• Delivering high standards of customer service.
• Going extra mile for every customer.
• Ensuring first-class spa presentation by housekeeping and maintenance of equipment.

Full Time - 40 hours over any 5 days a week.

Dogwood has grown through the years, however it is still very much a family business at heart. We quickly identify individuals who are keen to progress and will provide them with the necessary training and experience to do so.

We are an award-winning family run business where you are a name, not a number. We continue to grow and now have over 40 salons around the country.

We are looking for experienced, customer focused, friendly stylists who have a genuine enthusiasm for pets to join our salons.

We are currently recruiting for a Stylist within our Dogwood salon based in Slough.

Responsibilities of a Stylist:

• Able to groom and style all breeds of dogs to the highest standard.
• Overseeing the running of the spa.

• Supporting your stylist in preparing the dogs ready for their groom.

• Going ‘the extra mile’ for every customer.
• Ensuring first class spa presentation by our high level of housekeeping and maintenance of equipment.
