Job Description:

We are an award-winning family-run business with over 40 salons nationwide, where you are a name, not a number. We are seeking experienced, customer-focused, friendly trainees with a genuine enthusiasm for pets to join our salons.

Currently, we are recruiting for a Trainee Stylist at our Dogwood salon, covering Shoreham and Rustington locations.

Responsibilities of a Trainee Stylist:

• Demonstrate a hands-on approach to meet Dogwood's high standards.
• Support stylists in preparing dogs for grooming.
• Manage the sales performance of the salon.
• Book and manage appointments.
• Provide high standards of customer service.
• Go ‘the extra mile’ for every customer.
• Maintain first-class spa presentation through high housekeeping standards and equipment maintenance.
• Complete a Grooming portfolio to track training and progress.

Requirements of a Trainee Stylist:

• Confident and positive handling of dogs.
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers and pets.
