Stylist or Assistant Stylist – Winchester

Salary: Stylist (Dog Groomer) £13.74 per hour / Assistant Stylist (Trainee Dog Groomer) £13.34 per hour

Who are we?

We’re Pets at Home – if you love pets, you might already know about our Pet Care Centres, which include Pets Grooming salons and Vets for Pets practices across the UK.

What are the roles?

Our Stylists and Assistant Stylists are vital to our Pets Grooming salons' success.

Stylist:

You will handle all aspects of pet grooming, delivering high-standard, thorough grooming services. You will exceed customer expectations by providing excellent service and utilizing your communication skills to interact with customers and their pets daily.

Assistant Stylist:

You will provide top-quality pet care, understanding technical aspects of grooming, including handling techniques and equipment use. We will train you to meet our service standards, offering competitive pay, opportunities to earn the Real Living Wage, and additional pay through training programs.

Who are we looking for?

• Passionate about delivering excellent service.
• Flexible, able to work shifts across 6 days a week (closed on Sundays).
• Experience working with or handling dogs in a professional grooming or pet care setting (bathing your own dog doesn't qualify).
• Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Comfortable working in target-driven environments.
