Stylist or Assistant Stylist – Yate

Salary: Stylist (Dog Groomer) £11.84 per hour / Assistant Stylist (Trainee Dog Groomer) £11.44 per hour

Who are we?

We’re Pets at Home – if you love pets, you might already know about our Pet Care Centres, which include Pets Grooming salons and Vets for Pets practices around the UK.

What are the roles?

Our Stylists and Assistant Stylists are vital to the success of our Pets Grooming salons.

Stylist:

You will be responsible for all aspects of pet grooming, confidently delivering a full and thorough groom of a high standard. You will exceed customer expectations by providing excellent service within the salon. Your communication skills will be fully utilized in dealing with customers and their pets daily.

Assistant Stylist:

You will deliver the highest standard of pet care, demonstrating a basic understanding of grooming techniques, including handling, equipment use, and pre-grooming preparation. Training, skills, and knowledge will be provided to help you deliver exceptional service. You’ll enjoy competitive pay, with opportunities to earn the Real Living Wage or more through our Earn As You Learn programmes, and additional pay through extra training.

Who are we looking for?

• People passionate about delivering excellent service.
• Flexible individuals able to work a shift pattern across 7 days a week, including busy periods, absences, and holidays. The minimum contract is 39 hours, but additional hours may be required.
• Experience working with or handling dogs in a professional grooming or pet care environment.
