Stylist or Assistant Stylist – Gateshead
Salary: Stylist (Dog Groomer) £11.84 per hour / Assistant Stylist (Trainee Dog Groomer) £11.44 per hour

Who are we?
We’re Pets at Home – if you love pets, you might already know about our Pet Care Centres, including Pet Grooming salons and Vets for Pets practices across the UK.

What are the roles?
Our Stylists and Assistant Stylists are vital to our Pets Grooming salons' success.

Stylist:
Responsible for all aspects of pet grooming, delivering high-standard, thorough grooms, and exceeding customer expectations through excellent service and communication.

Assistant Stylist:
Provide top-quality pet care, learn technical skills related to dog grooming, and receive training and development to become a Stylist. Opportunities include competitive pay, earning potential through training programs, and additional pay through extra training.

Who are we looking for?

• Passionate about delivering excellent service.
• Flexible, able to work across a 7-day week schedule, with a minimum of 39 hours, and additional hours during busy periods.
• Experience working with or handling dogs in a professional grooming or pet care environment (personal pet grooming does not qualify).
• Experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
• Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
