Key responsibilities:

  • Organize & maintain all types of documents, including technical drawings, specifications, work instructions, quality control procedures, and other relevant paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate records of document revisions and ensure the correct version of each document is always used.
  • Drive continuous improvement by developing case studies, sharing best practices with internal stakeholders, and embracing innovation and new ways of working.
  • Manage the workflow of documents throughout their lifecycle, from creation to archiving, ensuring they are available to the right people at the right time.
  • Use and support document control systems and software to manage documents efficiently.
  • Contribute to improvements in Customer Solution Surveys, adhere to the customer complaint process, and work towards target improvements in NPS scores.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective document management practices.
  • Generate reports on document status, revisions, and other relevant information for management.

Skills and attributes:

  • Effectively manage a large volume of documents and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using document control software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of document control procedures and best practices.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and relevant documentation.

Education

STEM-focused Level 4 qualification.
