This is a full-time, fully remote legal document production position working the night shift.

Hugely impressive US law firm is currently recruiting an experienced and technical Legal Document Production Specialist to join their in-house document production department on a full-time, permanent basis. The salary for this position is £60,000, dependent on skills and experience.

The role involves working night shifts from 9pm onwards, with flexible finish times and options for 9-hour or 10-hour shifts across 3 or 4 nights per week. This is a permanent, full-time role with condensed hours.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing correspondence, memoranda, and other legal and non-legal documents accurately and promptly; proofreading and quality checking documents.
  • Formatting, editing, and styling complex Word documents, including mail merge, large inputs, tables, TOC, and TOA.
  • Supporting the coordinator with intake reviews on general job requests.
  • Maintaining shift logs, job requests, and project documentation to meet deadlines.
  • Creating and editing complex technical drawings, graphics, and organizational charts.
  • Managing large and complex document production projects, documenting instructions, expectations, and context.
  • Staying current with new technologies and approaches in legal document production software.

Technical skills and experience required:

  • Proficiency in templates and house styles.
  • Extensive experience in a Legal Document Production role within medium to large law firms.
  • Advanced MS Office skills and familiarity with software like Visio and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills for job specifications and dealing with multiple users.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
