Document Production Specialist

US law firm is seeking an evening Document Production Specialist to work from 1pm to 9pm or 2pm to 10pm, offering a free taxi home and a very competitive salary.

  • Monday to Thursday in the office / Friday remote work
  • Complimentary meals
  • Located in the heart of the City

Responsibilities of the Document Production Specialist include:

  • Monitoring workflow and ensuring all document requests are processed within required timescales and standards, negotiating deadlines, and managing expectations. Collaborating closely with the Secretarial Manager regarding workflow and issues.
  • Creating and revising legal documents according to the Firm’s specifications using the latest software and MS Office.
  • Producing financial statements, flow charts, presentations, letters, and other documents, including cross-references, Table of Contents, Table of Authorities, defined terms, and indexing.
  • Scanning, formatting, converting documents across software packages, transcribing tapes, mail merge, creating closing sets, CD labels, fillable PDFs, and preparing document comparisons.
  • Designing and implementing presentations, multimedia projects, posters, covers, and graphics for proposals.
  • Troubleshooting document issues and proofreading to ensure accuracy, proper formatting, and brand compliance.

Requirements include:

  • Over 2 years of Word Processing/Document Production experience within a law firm.
  • Knowledge of legal industry software such as iManage, Numbering Schemes, and Workshare.
