Document Production Specialist

A US law firm is seeking to hire an evening Document Production Specialist to work hours from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, offering a very competitive salary.

  • Monday to Thursday in the office / Friday remote work
  • Free meals provided
  • Located in the heart of the City
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor workflow and ensure all document requests are processed within required timescales, maintaining quality standards. Negotiate deadlines and manage expectations as necessary. Collaborate closely with the Secretarial Manager regarding workflow and other issues.
  • Create and revise legal documents according to the Firm’s specifications using the latest software and MS Office.
  • Produce financial statements, flow charts, presentations, letters, and other documents. Mark for cross-references, create Table of Contents, Table of Authorities, define terms, and manage indexing.
  • Scan and format documents; convert documents between different software packages; transcribe tapes; produce mail merge documents; create closing sets, CD labels, fillable PDF forms, and prepare document comparisons.
  • Design and implement presentations, multimedia projects, posters, covers, and produce graphics for proposals.
  • Troubleshoot document issues.
  • Proofread work for quality, ensuring accuracy, proper formatting, and brand compliance where applicable.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of Word Processing/Document Production experience within a law firm.
  • Knowledge of legal industry software, such as iManage, Numbering Schemes, and Workshare.
