Job Description:

Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company.

KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents, offering challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.

We are looking to recruit a Document Controller (Client-Side) for an 8-month contract, based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

Role Overview:

Under broad direction, oversees and performs activities related to document management on a project. Coordinates the execution of the document management plan, guides and supervises personnel, collaborates with the department, client, and customer to ensure work processes are aligned with project and contractual requirements, and ensures deliverables meet quality, schedule, and contractual obligations.

Key Activities:
  • Implement and execute the Document Management strategy and plan.
  • Ensure the success of document management activities and deliverables.
  • Manage document management supply chain activities effectively.
  • Communicate with project management, client, and sub-contractors to resolve documentation issues.
  • Proficient in engineering and supplier document distribution management.
  • Develop project document reports and statistics.
  • Work within an integrated, multi-location document management team.
  • Communicate regularly with global document management staff.
  • Ensure proper implementation and maintenance of document management systems like IPMS, Documentum, SharePoint.
  • Manage development and updates of document registers and distribution matrices.
  • Operate document release processes and contribute to training personnel.
Experience/Technical Skills:
  • University degree or equivalent oil and gas industry experience.
  • 6-10 years in process plant industry document management, with 5 at supervisory level.
  • Knowledge of EDMS systems, electronic document imaging, SharePoint, and information management systems.
  • Understanding of process plant documentation.
