Overview

TCM IP Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our remote team on a 6-month contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate. This is a primarily home-based role with flexible hours, designed to support our expanding portfolio of AV, IT, BMS, and Electrical projects.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, organise, and maintain project documentation for AV, IT, BMS, and Electrical disciplines.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all documents, following company and client standards.
  • Coordinate document flow between stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and external partners.
  • Support O&M manual compilation and project submittal processes.
  • Track document status, reviews, and approvals, ensuring timely submission and sign-off.
  • Assist in document formatting, version control, and digital archiving within secure file management systems.
  • Respond to document-related queries and provide support to project teams as required.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives for document control across multiple disciplines.
Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years’ experience in document control or project administration, preferably within construction, engineering, or technical environments.
  • Strong knowledge of document management systems and digital workflows.
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Effective communicator, able to liaise with multidisciplinary teams remotely.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PDF editing tools.
  • Knowledge of O&Ms and project submittal processes for AV, IT, BMS, and Electrical sectors is highly desirable.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently from home.
Contract Terms
  • 6 month fixed-term contract, with the prospect of a permanent position on successful completion.
  • Home-based working with one day per week in the office.
