Job description

Document Controller (12 months fixed term contract), Salisbury

This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract, based either in Liverpool or Salisbury, with a salary of £28,359.00 per annum. The position requires an EU work permit.

Company Overview

Our client is a leading energy solutions provider, delivering mission-critical infrastructure assets and services to the global offshore energy industry. Their divisions include topside, marine, subsea, cables, logistics, and industrials, playing a vital role in offshore energy projects worldwide, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out document control and project administration tasks.
  • Support the administrative needs of the business.
  • Assist in compiling tender packages and QA/QC of project documentation.
  • Support procurement processes, including purchase orders and requisitions.
  • Assist project teams and prepare project workpacks, including supervisor packs.
  • Control and issue project-related documentation, maintain Master Document Registers, and ensure document presentation consistency.
  • Issue transmittal documents and record transactions with clients.
  • Liaise with clients and project managers to coordinate project requirements.
  • Maintain project files (hard copy and electronic) and revise company documents.
  • Assist with searches, queries, and requests from department personnel.
  • Maintain the Management System and the MDR.
QHSE Responsibilities

Understand relevant areas of the QHSE Management System and promote a proactive safety culture, environmental sustainability, and quality standards, ensuring continual improvement.

Skills and Experience
  • Ability to interpret data and information accurately.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Multitasking capability.
  • Data processing and proofreading skills.
