Location – Banwell

Purpose of the role:

Galliford Try is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team on our Banwell Bypass project.

In this key role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will work closely with the site team using established document control systems and protocols.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a major infrastructure project and contribute to its successful delivery.

What will you be doing:

Support the design team by ensuring all design and technical information is accurately managed, maintained, and issued in line with project timelines

Ensure full compliance with company and project-specific information management procedures, including the IMP and BEP

Act as a central interface between the design and site teams, overseeing coordination of documentation, data flow, and handover deliverables

Foster effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, maintaining strong working relationships at all levels

Administer the Common Data Environment (CDE), managing workflows, user access, document containers, and data integrity

Maintain and audit project registers, ensuring records meet Business Management System (BMS) and quality assurance requirements, and generate reports as required

Great communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work well with different teams

Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.

Able to manage multiple tasks, stay calm under pressure, and meet deadlines

Willing to learn new systems and technology quickly

Ideally strong working knowledge of ViewPoint or another similar document control system
