Document Controller - The Company Our client is a leading Tier 1 specialist Cladding & Roofing contractor working with leading Tier 1 main contractors on large flagship new build major projects. The business has a loyal and robust client base and is experiencing a period of growth - looking to expand.
Document Controller - What you will do:
Based on site at Hinkley Point
Day-to-day management and quality control of Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) for the project(s)
Have understanding of various stages of construction projects from Concept Design to Construction
Being the point of contact for the project's clients, consultants, contractors and internal management for project information
Download of all formal and informal issues and distributing these internally to the teams and consultants
Working with internal and external teams to understand their protocols and requirements and being their point of contact for all information exchange queries
Prepare and maintain project record files
Completing the final process of reviewing design / construction information, appending the relevant comments and submitting them back onto the project systems
Manage and maintain other essential project forms such as RFIs, Correspondences, Site Submittals
Arrange printing as required by project
Minute Taking and Hard copy filing
Assisting with management of the site offices, including health and safety compliance
Site Administration including stationary orders and consumables ordering
Report compilation
Delivery note scanning and uploading
Document Controller - What you will have:
You will ideally have extensive experience of Document Control on a construction project
Willingness to assist in general administration
You will possess a methodical approach to work combined with an attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
